Flight Planning

Used to working and collaborating with airlines – would they be legacy airlines, low-cost carriers or newcomers on the marketplace - on the one hand, and the CFMU on the other hand, ADV consultants know perfectly the operations and procedures inherent to each one of these actors during the flight planning phase, in particular the processes at the interface between airline operations and network operations (ATFCM). At the same time ADV consultants keep aware of their interests and objectives, and also of their constraints and issues.

ADV therefore uses this twofold knowledge to propose efficient solutions to optimize and improve the interactions between both actors during the flight planning phase, from flight plan preparation to ATC flight plan changes, through flight plan update and validation.

As an example, ADV demonstrated its expertise during:

  • The conception of a tool providing assistance to Aircraft Operators for the management of delays and their notification to the CFMU;
  • The development of an operational concept aiming at improving the interoperability of flight data exchanged between the AO/CFSP and the CFMU during the flight planning phase, thanks to the use of 4D profile.

ADV helps therefore bridge the gap between various actors so as to find altogether forward-moving solutions to give ATM the momentum it takes to challenge the present and gear up for the future.
