Airspace is a scarce resource for today’s growing traffic, specially in the Europe where the density of traffic is already high. The airspace management system that is used today allows a limited optimization of the airspace use.

With SESAR, as we move toward a dynamic airspace, the need for optimized and coordinated management of this resource is a key element to improve traffic flows. The objective is to improve flexibility and use of airspace through more sophisticated airspace reservation from both civil and military users.

ADV has the expertise to participate in the modelling of the basis of the dynamic airspace management within the SJU Entreprise Architecture project.
